Last time this year, you probably had a social calendar filled with things to do and people to see. This year, you shouldn’t be going to parties, travelling far, or gathering with people outside of your household. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun!
Dinner parties don’t need to be completely off the table in the time of people distancing. Thanks to all the video chat options out there, you can get creative and still hold a virtual gathering for a meal together.

Most noted philosophers used walking to get their thoughts going. Wilderness visionaries like Henry David Thoreau walked a great distance to experience the wilderness landscape (Thoreau walked 100 days in 1866, from Montreal to Quebec City). But you don’t need a major pilgrimage to become familiar with nature.
While it’s an exciting prospect that so much in the region is opening back up, it still might feel a little nerve-wracking to get out of the house and “travel” again. Taking a nearby trip in Ontario's Southwest feels a little more comforting when you know you have some of the conveniences of home with you.
