Rondeau Provincial Park
Rondeau Provincial Park is Ontario's second-oldest provincial park. It has 11 kilometers of sandy beaches and boasts excellent hiking, fishing, boating, biking, rollerblading and birding.
Who will love it?
Trails are open for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on ungroomed trails, and ice fishing. Educational programs also available at select times through the winter as well. Contact the park to confirm winter opportunities.
Rondeau has 264 campsites in the north end of the park. Camping opens the first Friday in April and closes the last Sunday in October.
Rondeau has a dog beach and exercise area. It's a great spot to bring your dog for day use.
Rondeau is a premiere birding destination providing bird watchers with a world-class experience. 334 species of birds have been recorded in the park.
The generally calm and shallow waters of Rondeau Bay offer an excellent canoeing or kayaking experience.
The warm, vegetation rich waters of Rondeau Bay offer excellent Largemouth Bass fishing.
