Fanshawe Conservation Area is packed full great outdoors adventure in the northeast end of London. Pack your hiking shoes, camping gear, grab your bike, and tow in your watercraft because this park has so many ways to enjoy the fresh air in the Forest City.

Mountain Bikers

The 20km Fanshawe Lake trail offers spectacular view, aged trees and open meadows making it top riding choice in the area.

Hikers

In addition to the Fanshawe Lake trail that is open to hikers too, there are two hiking only trails making it perfect for families to take in the beautiful trees and views.

Paddlers

Hit the calm water for a relaxing paddle. Canoe rentals available right at the park.

Paddlers, Boaters & Anglers

The Fanshawe Reservoir provides great fishing and the quiet waters make it a favourite for new paddlers.

Campers

Seasonal campsites are available that are offered on a first come, first served basis so call the park to learn about availability as it changes regularly.

Winter Activities

An escape to the great outdoors right in the Forest City, Fanshawe Conservation is open in winter for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and even mountain biking or fat biking on select trails. No washrooms, garbages, or other facilities are available in winter and parking is very limited so please plan ahead.
