Chatham-Kent is a world-renowned destination for sport and game fishing located in two of the most productive fresh water lakes. Trophy-size muskie is plentiful in Lake St. Clair, one of the last muskie lakes in existence. Anglers can fish in the openness of Lake St. Clair or in one of several protected tributaries. Charter companies fish for walleye, perch, muskie, and small mouth bass. In winter, ice fishing for perch, bluegill, and crappie is excellent off Mitchell’s Bay.
