Light and Lavender: A Cyanotype High Tea Party
An Ontario's Southwest Signature Experience
Spend a relaxing morning at Purple Haven Farm, where creativity, nature, and local flavours come together in a hands-on cyanotype workshop. Learn the art of camera-less printing using sunlight and natural materials, then create your own blue-toned linen print to take home and display in an embroidery hoop.
The experience also includes a seasonal high tea luncheon featuring sweet and savoury treats paired with lavender tea. Guided by Lacie of LVW Creative Barracks Arts Studio and hosted by farm owner Kim, this beginner-friendly workshop offers a welcoming space to create, connect, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, guests are invited to wander through the farm’s fragrant lavender fields at their leisure.
