Discover the birds of Pinery Provincial Park.

Pinery Provincial Park's sunsets, which have been ranked among the world’s top ten by National Geographic Magazine, will be the icing on the cake after a day exploring this beautiful park. It’s rare habitats provide shelter and space for 319 different species of birds, 124 of which have nested in the park.

If you don’t wish to camp or stay in one of the park’s yurts, area hotels like Oakwood Resort Inn or Pine Dale Motor Inn are great choices.

When you’re ready for a break from birding, enjoy a play at the Huron Country Playhouse, or hit the beach at Grand Bend’s Main Beach – it’s been designated a Blue Flag Beach for its commitment to meeting strict criteria for water quality, environmental education, environmental management, and safety and services.

When it’s time to refuel, head to Smackwater Jacks in Grand Bend to dine right on the water's edge and catch a million-dollar view.
